The wedding of Caroline and Alex took me to the lovely Dorset village of Marnhull. Alex is in the army, as was his (temporarily returned from Afghanistan) Best Man Jethro. The venue was the village church and I was allowed pretty much a free reign by the Vicar which isn't usually the case. Uniforms had been scrubbed and swords polished by the Honour Guard, who then stood ceremoniously outside the church forming an arch with their swords for the Bride and Groom to exit through. After the ceremony the Bride, Groom and guests retired to the marquee for the wedding breakfast, speeches and cake. The caterers, based in a kitchen tent, did a quite incredible job (thanks for the food guys). An evening of barn dance fun then followed, with young and old hurling themselves into the action. A wonderful, special day that Caroline and Alex will always remember. Thanks for involving me! There are more pictures here.
