In truth I didn't know what I was getting myself into when I decided to become a wedding photographer. Yes, I had trained and prepared excessively to equip me for someone's special day. But the 10 - 12 hours I often spend at a wedding is only a fraction of what I do. As anybody who is self-employed will tell you plenty of time is spent on admin, accounts, software, training, developing a business model, developing a brand, advertising, websites… the list goes on. But I have loved it!
Without a doubt it has been a huge privilege to be part of so many lives. It is a great responsibility to capture a couples wedding day, and I am proud of what I have done (if not a little surprised how much I have been able to help people too!).
Every wedding is different. I've been to some amazing places and worked with some wonderful people. I don't know what the next ten years will bring, but I can promise the same level of commitment, quality and service that has come to define my business and reputation. Thank you to all the couples who have enjoyed my success, I am truly grateful for your support and the part you have played in my dream job.
