weddings in wilton, wiltshire
Wilton is a historic town, and was once the capital of Wiltunscire (part of the Kingdom of Wessex). Its abbey (no longer) was replaced with Wilton House and the building of Salisbury Cathedral mean that Wilton's religious significance declined. Carpet weaving has long been important to the town, which is home to the famous Wilton Carpet factory and this still exists today (although is now partly a shopping village). St Mary & St Nicholas parish church is built in a beautiful Italianate style, complete with campanile.
If you're planning to have your wedding in the Wilton area, then I would love to be your photographer for the day. I am a local full time wedding photographer providing a bespoke service for a set fee. If you feel that I might be what you're looking for then I'd be very happy to meet up to discuss your requirements, answer any questions, and help out by sharing my knowledge and experience.
